Actually is brand of mid seventies, which is owned by Pioma Industries but it started gaining popularity in the eighties when the market was dominated by carbonated soft drink like Thums Up, Glod Spot and limca. But, now this Ahmedabad based company will soon come up with fresh & energetic TVC in which we see Rasna boy and famous cricketer none another than our Vriender Sehwag (Vrio) with its signature lines to promote its new range of Rasna’s Fruit Plus.

Fortified with 21 vitamins, minerals, glucose and calcium, the drink is available in water melon and guava flavours, and works out to Rs 2 to Rs 3 a glass. The creatives of the commercial have been done by Curry Nation, led by Ms Preeti Nair. Rasna has also got on board veteran ad man Mr A.G. Krishnamurthy as its brand consultant.


Rasna’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Piruz Khambatta said, the reason for endorsing “Sehwag is that he is one of the most dependable cricketer in the Indian team and has shown his true spirit when he scored more than 300 runs in just 278 balls. Rasna Fruit Plus is going to give a similar winning knock in the summer of 2012.”
